Particularly good and marvellous location with private parking if needed and right by the center of the city. Nice staff at all times.

Clean hotel with beautiful rooms. Super-friendly staff. Good bed in the room. Convenient location close to trains, stores, and the metro station Porta Romana.

The receptionist did actually take action when I complained about noise from the neighboring guest.
- The mattress is like hardwood floor - The walls have no noise insulation - The rooms are minimally furnished and very small - The TV fits in your back pocket (not that I ever switched it on). Checked out before breakfast was served, so can't comment on that.

Fairly clean, absolutely fantastic hotel, well-appointed rooms and outstandingly accommodating staff. Good beds, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a personal safe in the room. Good location really close to Porta Romana metro station and shops, restaurants and bars and city centre in a nice local area. Also, easy access to Parrocchia Sant'andrea Parish.

The room was clean and fairly quiet, and the convenience of having air conditioning and a balcony was great; plus, the location was favorable, with Linate airport just 0.5 miles away. Rewritten: the room was clean and peaceful, with handy air conditioning and a balcony, and the spot was excellent with the airport nearby.

The location of hotel is very good - reached city centre by walking. Clean sheets, clean bathroom. I did like breakfast, bread was nice, croissants, fruits (apple and orange) - but if you want coffee, rather order cappuchino, as coffee will be very small :) Alltogether do not expect a lot.
Everything seemed to be old and threadbare.Very noisy-could hear everything from the rooms nearby. Stayed for 2 nights, first night was horrible, couldnt sleep, as someone was talking very loud in Italian- woke up at 2 am and had to listen to all of it.So if you want to use this hotel for sleeping, I suggest you to grab some earplugs.Otherwise - chose another hotel. Staff seemed to be friendly (Japanese,i think), however their english is very poor. Also I had a bit of inconvenience with payment - they have reserved amount of first night from my bank card, then, when I left, I payed both nights and that amount is still frozen, and I cant reach my money :( usually it takes about 2 weeks, untill bank refrozes the reserved money, so be aware.

The hotel was just a few blocks from a Metro station, making it easy to get to the more interesting parts of Milano.
The bed was torturous. We literally were in significant pain trying to sleep on it. Even the pillows were bad - they felt like sandbags. The whole place was worn out. The walls were dirty, there was a hole in the wall in the hallway, and the furniture looked like it was gathered from a yard sale. Ironically, we were told we were given one of the best rooms - I can only imagine what the others were like. The staff was generally helpful, but spoke very little English.

Just go there for its location and parking availability.
Just go there if you have no other opportunities. Clean, but very very simple, and oriented to Chinese groups of travelers.

Great spot for a weekend getaway. We were pleasantly surprised when they gave us a bigger room with a nice view. 😊

Newly remodelled hotel with perfect and exceptionally nice location close to transports in the Porta Romana district. A huge variety of jam and fruit available in the lobby for breakfast. Outstanding, large rooms, comfortable bed, well-mannered staff...

The value for money at Hotel Di Porta Romana was excellent! The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and a metro station just a short walk away.
The breakfast selection could have been better, especially the coffee.

The bed was hard like a rock, the room was not clean and had a pungent smell, no possibility to turn down the radiator and opening the window was not an option because of traffic noices.
